Reflections from the Milken Institute Global Conference
This week I had the privilege of attending the Milken Institute Global Conference as part of the Young Leaders Circle. It was inspiring to be surrounded by thoughtful, ambitious people who are committed to shaping a better future.
The conference brought together some of the most influential voices in finance, technology, and philanthropy. I had the chance to hear from leaders like Jensen Huang, Ruth Porat, Jeff Green, Jon Gray, Jane Fraser, Ken Griffin, Bill Ackman, Scott Bessent, and Marc Rowan. Each shared insights that stretched the way I think about where the world is headed.
One of my favorite moments happened in the most unexpected place. I was stepping into an elevator and there was Ruth Porat. How could I not say hello to someone I had admired for so long? To my surprise, she seemed shocked that I even knew who she was. We ended up having the warmest conversation. Her humility left a lasting impression on me. Since then, I have been fortunate to stay in touch, and I feel grateful to now call her a mentor.
What stayed with me most from the week was not just the ideas on stage, but the energy in the room. There was a shared sense of responsibility. A belief that innovation and investment should go hand in hand with inclusivity and sustainability.
I left the conference inspired and thankful. Thank you to the Milken Institute for creating the space to bring such a community together and for reminding us of what is possible when people come together with open minds and open conversations.
